Location. Hotel Lido Mediterranee is a typical Sicilian property set on the beach in one of Taormina's beautiful bays, 900 metres from the cable car that runs to Taormina centre, which is three kilometres away. Catania Fontanarossa Airport is 60 kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 40 minutes.
Hotel Features. The private beach is dotted with sun beds and umbrellas. The concierge can organise excursions, and staff at the front desk can exchange currency. The bar serves a wide selection of drinks, and the hotels offers complimentary breakfast. Guests can enjoy complimentary use of facilities at a nearby gym. Getting there. Buses and taxis are available at the airport. A taxi to the hotel costs approximately 75 EUR. Alternatively, guests can catch a train to Taormina Giardini Naxos, four kilometres from the hotel.
Driving directions. From the airport take North Highway A18 from Catania to Messina. Exit at Taormina and the hotel is located in Mazzaro Bay.
