The Hotel Terme Roma is a Palladian style property built in 1900 and situated in the Euganean Hills in the spa town of Abano Terma, 12 kilometres from Padova. This three floor hotel features 87 guestrooms decorated in classical style with a palate of rich warm tones of cream, gold and either navy or deep crimson with white lacquered furnishings, antique ornaments, gold and navy or crimson brocade fabrics and blue or crimson pattered carpets. Art works adorn the walls and net curtained windows lead to private balconies. All have cable TV, direct dial phones, complimentary toiletries, hairdryers, safes and minibars.
As well as sunbathing on a lounger by the outdoor pool, guests can spend a relaxing time at the hotel unwinding in one of the three thermal swimming pools, one of which is on the fourth floor with a panoramic view of the surrounding hills and countryside. The spring mineral water is naturally heated to around 90�C, and the area is also known for its volcanic mud which has unique therapeutic properties. At the Euganean spa guests can indulge in a range of treatments and therapies including mud baths, thermal water immersions, massage treatments, facials and reflexology. There is also a gym, solarium and steam bath. Guests can partake in aqua aerobics classes every afternoon and bicycles are available free of charge from reception. The proximity of the Euganean Hills (two kilometres away) provides plenty of opportunities for horse riding, hiking, mountain biking and climbing. There are three golf courses within nine kilometres of the hotel. As well as special candlelit dinner and dancing evenings by the grand piano in the restaurant the hotel hosts folklore evenings inspired by the Venetian peasant traditions and performed in period costumes. In the nearest town of Padova, 12 kilometres away, there are cultural sights and attractions including a famous university, churches, art treasures and chapels. Venice is 40 kilometres from Abano Terma. Venice Marco Polo Airport is 50 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 45 minutes.

The hotel provides a special taxi booking service at special rates or an airport shuttle service where seats must be reserved with the hotel in advance. A taxi from the airport costs approximately 120 EUR. A train can be caught from Venice or Mestre train station to Terme Euganee station which is four kilometres away and a taxi can be taken from there to the hotel.
Driving directions: From the airport Leave the airport and follow directions towards Padova. Close to Venezia take the A4 / E70 for 38 kilometres. Exit at Padova Ovest then take Via Po onto the SR47 and turn left onto Cavalcavia Brusegana. Pass through Brentell di Sotto, Selvazzano Dentro and at Abano Terme turn right onto Viale Colli Euganei and at the roundabout take the 3rd exit Via Appia Monterosso. Turn right onto Via Giuseppe Mazzini where the hotel is located.
